Common metal ultrasonic welding machine can be divided into spot welding, ring welding, seam welding and wire welding
1, spot welding,
The vibration system of spot welder can be divided into longitudinal vibration system (light structure), bending vibration system (heavy structure) and light bending vibration system between them. Lightweight structure for small spot welder with power less than 500W. Heavy duty structure is suitable for kilowatt level high power ultrasonic welding machine. Light bending vibration system is suitable for small and medium power welding machine, which has many advantages of vibration system.
2, ring welding
Closed welds can be formed in one time by circular welding, using a torsional vibration system. During welding, when the pad is twisted, the amplitude of vibration is distributed in a symmetrical linear manner relative to the axis of the acoustic pole, the amplitude of the axis area is zero, and the amplitude of the edge of the pad is the largest. Ring welding is obviously the most suitable packaging technology for microelectronic devices. Sometimes girth welding is also used in the situation of straight line welding where the requirement of air tightness is particularly high. At this time, partial overlap girth welding method can be adopted to form seam welding to obtain continuous straight line welding. Because of the large area of girth welding, which requires large power input, multi-transducer drive mode is often adopted.
3, seam welding
The vibration system of the seam welding machine can be divided into the vibration state of the welding pad.
A) longitudinal vibration system;
B) bending vibration system;
C) torsional vibration system, etc.
A) and b) are commonly used. The vibration direction of the pad is perpendicular to the welding direction. The vibration direction of c) is parallel to the welding direction.
Seam welding can obtain a sealed continuous weld. Usually the workpiece is clamped between the upper and lower pads. Under special circumstances, the flat plate acoustic pole can be used.
4, line welding
Wire welding can be regarded as an extension of spot welding. It is now possible to obtain a 150mm long linear weld through a linear upper acoustic pole. This method is most suitable for linear sealing of foil.
